The "Special Angles" Learning Object is a great example of
how Peterson's utilizes the online medium to truly communicate
crucial test information to students. The six types of angles
test-takers need to know are interactively displayed to achieve
optimal retention. Rollovers, highlighted text that pops up
when a student places the mouse cursor on a particular on-screen
item, display the type of information often found in the margin
notes of books. The physical act of pointing-and-clicking
accompanies the student's intake of information as the combination
of thought and action aids in the learning process.
